  • WHAT EARPS SAID

"Am I carrying my helmet like I know what I'm doing? All the gear and no idea," Earps asked as she stepped up to the car and got into 'Fast & Furious' mode.

Midway round, she then joked: "I'm glad I didn't have too much breakfast, I could have painted your windscreen for you!"

The goalkeeper added once it was over: "Smashed that, light work…didn't throw up once. It was great, I loved it. The drift was really fun. My cheeks started to wobble, it was a good one."

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Despite suffering an injury during the last round of international games in June, Earps has joined up with the England squad once more for this month's camp to continue her recovery. With the camp taking up much of July, the players are granted weekends off, with Earps taking the opportunity to head to Silverstone, where she said she is backing British driver Lando Norris. A day earlier, the 31-year-old was in Amsterdam with some of her England team-mates.
